Late March
An Hour Prior to Curfew
He wasn’t sure how he felt about shared baths. The idea of this large a bubble bath was completely foreign to him. So naturally he resisted it. Having ignored the prefects bathroom since the start of term minus the curiosity trip he took in the first week back to the castle.An Hour Prior to Curfew
However, it occurred to him that if he thought of it as a pool the idea was less awkward. Plus, just like with pools or the ocean, he could always go back to his own common room and shower afterwards.
So with a towel and his swim trunks underneath his robes he went to the prefects bath. As he got himself ready putting his clothes on a chair to a wall far from any water he was surprised by the sheer size of the room. Seriously the tub was as large as the front portion of his grandparents shop on Knockturn Alley. Naturally even that was small by the standards of most shops, but to him it seemed normal for a public area.
Then he went into the tub and experimented with the various knobs as water poured in. Water that seemed to bubble like a cauldron as foam and scents seemed to surround him. By the time he turned off the water the tub was two thirds filled of water. Though bubbles went to over a foot taller than the tub itself.
It was one of the oddest experiences of his life.
Regrettably he left his wand on the chair.
Alone he moved in the bubbles surprised how thick some of them felt foam wise to the center of the tub. Then he grabbed some of the bubbles and tried to push them towards one side of the pool pushing them towards the sides. Once he did that he turned on the water again letting a little more in and more bubbles form and repeated it.
He was surrounded by a three foot wall of bubbles on every side.
Wicked.
Then the door opened and he said “ You want in. I can make a door in my bubble fort. “
Yes, the first thing Oilibhéar Ó Coigligh did when he got access to the prefects bathroom was make a huge bubble fort.
