ABOUT THE CHARACTER
Rae is and has always been unapologetically herself. The closer one gets to knowing her, the clearer it becomes that the girl bleeds green. This isn't because of any overt, ambitious manoeuverings but her singular and often inward focused view of the world. To put it simply, she is a girl who does what she wants, when she wants and for only as long as she wants. With more than a hint of a hedonistic streak, Rae is prone to self-indulgence, consequences be damned.
She is not easily deterred from the things she sets her mind to and, likewise, is not easily moved by things that don't hold interest for her. As a rule, she focuses on the things that kindle joy to the exclusion of everything else.
The exception to this can be found in her friendships and close bonds with those she shares a deep connection with in her life. For them, discomfort is a small price to pay to help them. The girl is fiercely loyal and often the first to jump in when someone crosses the line with one of her people.
Not one for strict enforcement, she's likely to let things slide in the capacity of prefect. "Live and let live" she'll often say, until you make it her problem, then she won't hesitate. When the stakes are you or her, she'll always look out for number 1.

My name's Dani and I love writing problematic characters and complicated or intense plotlines.
I'm currently an English teacher in Japan, looking to head home this OOC spring or summer. If I'm not writing, I'm usually gaming. Wuthering Waves currently has the bulk of my attention but Genshin's holding on by a thread and Star Rail is the forgotten middle child I keep telling myself I'll log back into some day. Outside of my gacha babies, I occasionally play Animal Crossing: New Horizons, The Sims 4, and Cities: Skylines (both editions).
I first got into RPing when I was nearing the end of high school and have been on and off since. An RP was actually my introduction to the Harry Potter universe. Before then, I had no clue haha.
