Class Rules
In Character:

Be respectful of the professor and your peers. Any distracting or rude behavior will be met with a swift langlock and won't be removed until the following day.

Safety is paramount. Follow all instructions to the letter and do not deviate. Potions can be hazardous and I prefer not to have to inform your family of your grotesque disfigurement.

Ask questions. If you're unsure how to do something, don't attempt to do it anyway. See rule number two.

No stealing from the apothecary cabinet. I have eyes everywhere, and I will find out.

No drinking the potions, unless specifically instructed to. See rule number two.

Turn in all assignments and projects on time. No exceptions will be made.

Out of Character:

All site rules apply, but as a soft reminder, no power-playing the professor or other students. You only control your character. Please don't assume - if you have questions, I am always available to help you and answer any questions. Be respectful of others, and let's have fun.

Grading Guidelines

In order to pass this class, you need a minimum of 20 points. These can be earned through participating in the lesson or through extra credit. You must post at least once in class for the extra credit to count toward passing, as you cannot pass solely on EC.

Classes will net you a maximum of 20 points each, and the quality of the posts will be considered when grading is done. This 'quality' refers to the level of the character's engagement with the lesson. Not every character will be bold or outspoken, and for that reason, personality will not play a part in grading. What will be considered is the depth of their experience (interacting with classmates, paying attention to the details found within the lesson, reacting to the scenarios thrown at them, etc.) The more immersed the post (even if just in their own head about the lesson!), the better.

When it comes to choosing students for the honour roll, the students with the top five scores will be chosen. If there is too significant a number of ties, then any EC done by the students will also be counted toward their final score in order to create a clearer distinction.

Should you have any questions or concerns, you can reach out through PMs on site or DMs on discord: @.ambers.
