Extra Credit

* Note: You cannot pass this class on EC alone, you must have made posts in at least one of three lessons before being allowed to supplement the rest of your grade with ECs.

Option 1: Choose any of the fine creatures we've covered this term and write a poem that captures both their essence and your personal impression of them. Poems must be at least 20 lines and can, but don't have to, rhyme. Focus on the feelings the creature evokes in your character and the impression they have left on them. Please submit this to Maddox's letterbox, then link it here.

Option 2:

Help the professor with his chores duties. For this EC you may do a maximum of 2 threads, each worth 5 pts. Students can care for any of the creatures in the paddock: feeding, grooming, cleaning up after (depending on the creature), or do some groundkeeping: clearing leaves from pathways, getting rid of loose trash along the grounds, cleaning moss off the walls of the castle that are less prone to sunlight, etc.

Option 3:

One-shot - Near the end of the term, a one-shot will be opened. Keep an eye out for when this thread will be opened. It will be located here in the Care of Magical Creatures classroom and will require your student to prove their competence with the specified magical creature.
