History

Bertram, Bram Nordstrom. Born on 12/25/1859 to a well known and rich Pureblood family from a magical town in Sweden, Malmo. Bram, the oldest of four kids, has always been smart and well liked. He attended Gokstad Academy in the Netherlands, played Quidditch, excelled in Dueling and was the founding member of the Gokstad Wizarding Chess Club. His parents were detached, relying on nanny’s to raise their children, like many other Pure Blood families.

After Graduation, Bram went on to further his education, ultimately working his way up to a high profile Solicitor with the Swedish Ministry of Magic. He specializes in representing the Ministry against those who choose to break magical laws. Even at 60, he is at the top of his game.

Bram married Allegra, his wife of nearly 40 years. This was not a marriage of love, but of name. It was required to keep the Pure Blood lines going for both families. They were blessed with three children, Thomas, Gannon and Margery.

Bram and Allegra lived very different, separate lives. Bram stayed at the family estate in Malmo, Sweden while Allegra lived at their London Brownstone. She was the face of the family, attending parties and charity functions, while Bram worked hard and loved his job. The Swedish Ministry was a smaller governing body, not needing his services as much as the British Ministry of Magic, so he started spending more and more time working in London.

In the summer of 1917, Thomas contacted his parents to take custody of their only child Matilda. Thomas, a squib, was unwilling to raise a magical daughter. Matilda’s home life began to take a negative turn, so Bram and Allegra took full custody of the then 12 year old girl.

Bram is a doting grandfather. He loves his children and grandchildren. A serious businessman, had a sweet and sensitive side when it came to the kids in his family. In the courtroom he was tough and determined. Not giving in to the pressures or demands that came with the position.
