Roisin Byrne is a Halfblood born in Ireland to a muggle father (Darren Byrne), and pureblood mother (Maeve O'Ryan Byrne). She has a half-brother named Callum Byrne and a cousin named Finn O'Ryan. Her mother died when Rose was 13. Soon after, her father moved a new woman into their house - a pregnant woman - and a few months later her half-brother Callum was born. Not liking the fact that Darren was unfaithful to Maeve, Rose began to act out and eventually got sent to live with her cousin Finn O'Ryan in London.
