Face Claims

Be sure you read this whole post to ensure you are eligible to claim or reserve a face. Let us know if you have any questions!

Claims for Established Characters

You must:

• Have either an accepted application or, if you are changing your claim, a completed thread.
• Verify that the Face Claim you want is not taken or reserved.
• Even if your FC is older than your character, try to find photos of them when they were around the same age as your character. Please do not alter any images of your selected face to make them appear younger or older than they really are. Minor edits are fine, but significant ones are not.
• Do not request to use any canon HP face claims. That would be confusing.

Reserved Face Claims

Keep these things in mind:

• Verify that the Face Claim you want is not taken or reserved.
• If you are a new player and have not officially apped your character, then you may reserve for 2 weeks.
• If you are an established player with one or more accepted applications, claims expire after one term, or three months. You may not re-claim the same face after it expires; you must app the character and claim once the app is accepted.
• You may only reserve 2 claims at a time.
• Even if your FC is older than your character, try to find photos of them when they were around the same age as your character. Please do not alter any images of your selected face to make them appear younger or older than they really are. Minor edits are fine, but significant ones are not.
• Do not request to use any canon HP face claims. That would be confusing.
